Miss Bela
Kim Bela Watson has been teaching all disciplines of dance for over 10 years. She grew up dancing and competing in Florida where she won many awards and titles including Florida Junior Miss Dance in 1993 and Florida Miss Dance in 1995. Her training continued at Florida State University where she obtained a BFA degree in Dance with a dual focus in the visual arts, as well as a minor in psychology. After a couple of years of teaching and choreographing around the country, she returned home to Florida and founded the Soul Play Modern Dance Company. Now cured from a 13 year battle with a rare cancer, Bela continues to teach and perform all disciplines of dance with a renewed gratitude for living and the ability of movement. Currently Bela is continuing her education training to be a certified yoga Instructor at the North Carolina School of Yoga. When Bela is not dancing or practicing yoga, you?ll find her drawing, painting, sculpting, sewing, making jewelry, refurbishing furniture, or hiking. She loves to laugh, play, and celebrate life with her husband, Garrett.
